Dr. Emily Staples, NUCCA Chiropractor in Fort Wayne
Dr. Emily Staples is an Ohio native, growing up near Sandusky and Toledo. She attended the University of Dayton where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she spent a summer at Texas A&M University as part of the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program. While there, she completed a research project in evolutionary genetics which was later published by the Ohio Academy of Science. After an 8-year career in Molecular Genetics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital she was ready to pursue her much-anticipated next chapter.
Dr. Emily attended Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and spent the following two years in practice while in Georgia. However, she felt called to move closer to home and spent the next two years working with another NUCCA doctor in Ohio before deciding to plant some roots in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area where her brother and his family reside.
"My journey as a chiropractic patient began at 20-years old when I was first introduced to NUCCA. My chiropractor’s office was an hour and a half drive each way and I made it a priority in my schedule because I was receiving such high-quality care. I also made sure I had a NUCCA chiropractor to see regularly when I moved to Cincinnati. Prior to attending chiropractic school, I had been under the care of three different NUCCA chiropractors. Each of them had an exceptional influence in shaping how I viewed my own health and the healthcare system which was failing me. It was only then that I began to understand the full benefits of lifetime corrective chiropractic care. Once I had a better appreciation of the importance of the connection between the brain and every cell, tissue, and organ in the body I wanted to make it my life’s work to become a NUCCA chiropractor."
Dr. Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and her bonus daughter, Victoria, traveling, cooking, and experiencing all of the wonderful things that Fort Wayne, Indiana has to offer. She has been to all 50 states (plus DC) and 18 countries.
